Joanne Troy Perry

joanne-with-guitarSinger/songwriter Joanne Perry grew up in Massachusetts, where she began her musical career in high school. She has been performing in Central New York since 2000.

Currently Joanne fronts two bands, “The Unstoppables” (acoustic) and “The Combination” (electric). In 2009 Joanne released a single, “One Moon Away,” to benefit the USO facility at Fort Drum (see a live performance video below.)

Her 2012 CD, “Hearts Don’t Play by Rules,” was nominated for a Syracuse Area Music Award (SAMMY) that same year.joanne-with-guitar2

Joanne lives in Marcellus; she can be found hosting local Open Mic nights and performing with her bands across Central New York.

She has performed on several other musicians’ albums: “Early Girl” Donna Dennihy, “New River” Leo Crandall; “Freedom” Jane Zell; “More” Dusty Pas’cal, and “American Hunger” Mark Zane.
